Weekly Home Prayer Group:
We meet in various homes weekly for a time of praise, prayer,and fellowship.
Monthly Fellowship Dinner:
On the last Sunday of every month (unless it is a holiday
weekend); we have our monthly carry-in dinner. Everyone is asked to bring a large sized dish to share and a dessert.
The church provides table service,beverage/coffee.
This is a time for us to visit and strengthen relationships within the church. All are invited and welcomed to attend.
Sunday Afternoon Class. Pastor Mitchell teaches on a variety of topics from the Word of God. This is an informal group, with a time for questions, and prayer following. This class is held on Sundays at 4:00 p.m. (Except for the last Sunday of the month, when we have the dinner)
Once a month, Pastor Mitchell presents a Saturday morning
in-depth Bible Seminar for those interested. There is no cost for this class. Light refreshments are provided. Please call the church office for dates: 269-695-1091.
Portland Bible College Extention Class:
Pastor Mitchell is our instructor. We are currently studying the LocalChurch. Anyone can attend and take the class to earn college credits
(this, of course, will cost more); or simply for Bible Study and
enrichment in the Word of God. ($15.00 fee to cover all the copies that will be made).
Mighty Warrior's Children Choir:
Our Children's Choir is such a blessing!They are
currently preparing to bless us for Resurrection Morning!
Brenda Volrath, Tina Schlutt and Sharon Richter work hard as our teachers to prepare this group to minister in song.The children also receive solid Biblical teaching in their classes.
Prayer:
We hold various prayer times during the week:
Tuesdays: 7-8 p.m.
Sunday Mornings: From 9:45 to 10:30 - prayer for the Morning Worship Service.
In addition to these times, prayer requests are submitted to our prayer warriors via
email on a weekly basis.
Church Office:
Our Church Office is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
